October 1, 2010 — TUDI Mechanical Systems, Tampa will upgrade to a larger facility, on the east side of Tampa, in October. Enhancements have been made to the space, showcasing some of TUDI’s advanced energy solutions initiatives.

The expansion includes the relocation to 5615 East Adamo Drive, Tampa, to better serve Commercial and Industrial customers.    The new locale provides easy access to Interstate 4, Interstate 75, U.S. Highway 41, State Road 60 and the Selmon Crosstown Expressway.

TUDI has installed an energy efficient HVAC System with demand control ventilation (DCV), which senses CO2 levels to determine the occupancy of the space.  The system adjusts the amount of ventilation required, thereby decreasing energy consumption.

The brain of the system is an Energy Management System (EMS), which manages the occupancy schedules based on a 365-day calendar year, further decreasing energy consumption and increasing savings.  The EMS can remotely control the HVAC, lighting and security system with any web-based device.

In-house Training Facility:  The new location will provide a larger training facility, allowing field technicians, vendors and customers to build stronger partnerships.  “Our new state of the art training center will allow us to educate our customers on all of the new green energy efficiency technologies available, as well as provide continued education in an ever changing market” said Jon Dela Cruz, Vice President of Sales.
