| We make going green easy |

Dear Friends,
More customers have been asking us to help them make their homes more energy efficient and “green.” We have some great ideas for conserving energy in your home, which not only saves you money but also helps the environment.
The most powerful step you can take is to replace older equipment with a new highefficiency heating or cooling system. The air conditioning systems we install use an environmentally friendly refrigerant. This nextgeneration refrigerant has replaced Freon, which, beginning in 2010, can no longer be used when manufacturers build new residential cooling systems.
If you don’t need a new system, you can still conserve energy by keeping your equipment maintained properly.
Remember that the air conditioning season is not too far away, so contact us about getting a cooling tune-up before the hot weather arrives. Better yet, enroll in a Home Comfort Plan, which covers the cost of your tune-up and includes repair coverage and priority emergency service.
This is also the final year to take advantage of a 30% federal tax credit, which you can get after you install qualifying comfort equipment.
If you want to go green and save some green, please give us a call.
Sincerely,

Bob Tudi |

| Ask the expert |
Q: When you repaired my furnace, you didn’t charge me by the hour like other contractors have done. Why do you do it this way?
A: We never want our customers to be surprised by a big repair bill. We charge you by the job, not the hour. We do this with an industry-approved flat-rate price book, which lists competitive prices for every possible repair.
This way, we can tell you exactly how much your repair will cost before we start the job.
You can then either accept or decline the repair. If we go ahead with the work, the price we quoted will not change—even if the repair takes longer than expected.
If you have our Platinum Service Plan, you may not get a repair bill at all. |
Q: What does the Platinum Plan cover?
A: Your tune-up is included and you’re also guaranteed first-in-line priority service in case your system breaks down. You also won’t pay a cent for any covered repair, even if it costs $500 or more. |

| Time is running out! |
How often do you have a chance to upgrade that outdated comfort system and also save thousands of dollars?
There’s never been a better time to invest in energy efficiency because this is the final year to take advantage of a $1,500 federal tax credit when you install a qualifying furnace, central air system or heat pump.
You can save even more with rebates from equipment manufacturers. In fact, if you purchase a qualifying Carrier system, your potential savings are as much as $2,700! And that doesn’t include the money you’ll save on energy and repairs after installing a new system.
If your cooling system is more than 12 years old, look into these incentives now! If you wait until next year, you’ll not only miss out on the equipment savings but an entire year of energy savings—and comfort too.

| Ready for summer? |
To help you get started on preparing your central air system for summer, take these steps once temperatures have reached 65° or higher for a few days.
- Make sure the power to the outdoor unit is OFF.
- Remove the cover from the outdoor unit; clear out leaves and debris.
- Clean or replace the air filter on your indoor unit.
- Check the indoor condensate drain for cracked or kinked piping.
- Turn the power ON, set your thermostat switch to COOL and lower the temperature.
If your outdoor unit does not turn on, call us for service. If it does turn on, that’s good news. But don’t stop there. Call us or return the enclosed card to schedule your annual air conditioning tune-up. It ensures that your system is restored to peak efficiency and that it will operate problem free. |
