TUDI MECHANICAL SYSTEMS is seeking a highly motivated Professional Plumbing Salesperson/Estimator in our
Commercial and Residential Departments in our Pittsburgh office.This person will be responsible for the
Profit/Loss of plumbing projects sold to commercial, industrial and residential
companies and the development of new and existing accounts.
Candidates
will maintain strong relationships with customers, be enthusiastic and well
organized in their day to day activities.They must be hands-on, self-motivated, outgoing and dependable
individuals with the drive to succeed in a challenging and fast-paced
environment.
Responsibilities:
Estimating:Compile material and labor requirements for each job take off and
apply mark-ups for bidding.Use computer programs where applicable for estimating purposes.
Maintain cost keys and price updating
information.
Review of the project bid documents for
interpretation.
Subcontractor solicitation during bidding
process.
Communicating with project managers and
technicians on design requirements & changes, value engineering,
budget variation, and scheduling.
Provide field operations with change order
pricing.
Maintaining organized work files that will
include a complete set of plans, specifications, cost codes used on the
job, construction documents, engineering reports (if applicable),
contracts, change orders, and job communications (memo, etc.)
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge
by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.
Team player who can do what it takes to get the
job done.
Qualifications:
Must have minimum 3 years Commercial/Industrial/Residential
Sales experience and 3 years of both hard bid and conceptual estimating
experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word,
Excel, Outlook.
Blueprints:Able to read and make material take offs from plans using
mechanical estimating software.
·Master Plumber’s License – Allegheny County Preferred
