TUDI Mechanical Systems and Standard Air & Lite
will install nine free furnaces to local area families this Saturday, January
23, 2010. Heat for the Needy was developed to provide assistance to families who
cannot afford new heating systems, or are using unsafe form of heat such as
space heaters.
Teams of volunteers will install the new furnaces
on Saturday morning, January 23, 2010, starting at 9:00am.
Frank Iozzo, a TUDI service technician who has
participated in Heat for the Needy for almost 10 years, will serve as one of
nine team leaders that will volunteer his time and talent to help install a
new, high efficiency furnace in the home of local family in Millvale.
Over the past ten years, the Heat for the Needy program has provided over 95 heating systems to families throughout the Pittsburgh area. Heat for the Needy is made possible through the gracious efforts of the employees and their families at TUDI Mechanical Systems, local suppliers and businesses who have donated in-kind supplies and services.
